Today, I want to introduce you to something I call The Brighton Method.

Now, yes—it’s named after me, and if that sounds a little self-important, I get it. But truthfully, it’s the result of over 25 years of trial, error, and learning the hard way how to write, speak, and communicate effectively. You don’t have to go through all that.

The Brighton Method is a streamlined approach I’ve developed to help you tackle challenges in writing, speaking, and even reading for comprehension or enjoyment.

Whether you're struggling to organize your thoughts, express yourself clearly, or really absorb what you're reading—this method breaks it down and makes it manageable. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized: I’d actually built a method—one that taps into the creative unconscious and helps you access that “flow” state, whether you're writing, presenting, or reading. And the best part? It’s adaptable.

You’ll learn what works for you. I’ve taught this to graduate students at Johns Hopkins, aspiring authors, professionals, and more. It works. And yes—I use it myself.

This isn’t theory; it’s the toolkit I rely on every day.

We’ll start with the foundations of good communication—writing with clarity and reading with purpose. You’ll also get to look over my shoulder as I write my next novel, The Mosquito God. That way, you’ll see The Brighton Method in action—building block by building block.
